President/ Scientific Director
As Scientific Director of Dermico, Tim is driven to solve complex technical challenges to better understand the skin and the impact extrinsic factors have on it. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Elizabethtown College and a Master’s in Pharmaceutics from the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, University of Cincinnati, where he is currently completing his PhD. His current research passions are deciphering how perspiration interacts with epidermal barrier function and evaluating the complex interactions between adhesives and the skin. Tim is a member of the NYSCC and the Secretary of the International Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin (ISBS).
